Good Afternoon All,
A bright and sunny week at the club albeit a little frozen under foot, the course has been open every day and have even had trolleys back in operation.
Greenkeepers Chris Toop and Bert Leonardi have been attending The Golf Environment Awards this week as they had been selected as finalists in the category of Outstanding Environmental Project Of The Year due to all the work the team do with Woodland Management, Unfortunately they were pipped to 1st Place but below is the award they received for Runners Up.

The ladies got their competition schedule underway for the first time in 2016, 8 very keen competitors took to the course on Tuesday to play in the Stableford, Evelyn Collington was the runaway winner in Division One with 29 points, 11 clear of Carole Gilbey, in Division Two, Lady Captain Maddie Simmons took top spot with 19 points, with Ros Cox in 2nd place with 18.
