Well another Masters is over, and as always it delivers the usual nail biting excitement as every other year. If anyone is thinking of copying the Bubba method, think again! He is certainly a one off.
Congratulations to Liz Jenkins, who achieved a hole in one this week in the Ladies April Stableford on the 18th, good to see the champagne was flowing afterwards!

April Stroke
Once again the weather was kind for the monthly strokeplay, this was also combined with the Lombard Trophy qualifier, the winner of which plays with me at Kingswood in the regional final, and the national final awaits the winners of that at Gleneagles! Fingers crossed...
Congratulations to Steve Fisher who shot nett 67 to narrowly beat John (NR) Williams on count back. Division 2 was won by Chris Gadd, with a nett 68, closely followed by Mike Fletcher with nett 69
Leading junior prize went to Ben Church with 72 nett 69
Ladies Lonnen Qualifier
A big field for the Ladies Lonnen qualifier saw Julia Price on top spot with a nett 76, edging out Kim Wildman and Chitra Prashar in to 2nd and 3rd respectively .
Junior April Stroke
A good turn out for the Junior April Stroke, and following in the footsteps of his dad, James Trodd shot a fantastic gross 92 (26), nett 66 to beat off Kieren Titheridge nett 68 and Connor Byers nett 69. Well played James
