Modernising Golf's Rules
Last week the R&A proposed some key changes to the Rules of Golf from 2019. Their Rules Modernisation initiative has been underway for a few years now and this is the next stage in that process. The aim is to not only make the Rules easier to understand, but also to address some of the game's current problems, such as speed of play, and ensure they fit the needs of today's game.
Please spare a couple of minutes to complete our survey, which gives you the chance to have your say on the proposed changes.
We've picked out some of the most significant Rules changes for you to digest in this survey, before giving you the chance to say whether you agree or disagree with each of them. It'll be great to know your thoughts.

Maintenance Week
A quiet week at LPGC this week as it maintenance week and the greens have been on temporary greens for most of the week, hopefully by the time you read this all the greens will be back in play.
March Stableford
Last weekend saw the March stableford played, in somewhat testing conditions, not that this affected Alan Pestell who obviously got his silky putting stroke working for a fine 39 points, he was three points clear of Gary Taylor, Geoff Dicken and Gary Williamson, in Division two Sam Giacopazzi led the way with 38, on ahead of Terry Morgan on 37. The two's was worth £28 to all of you that managed one and had been added to your accounts.
The Augusta Challenge
Mark Pulford is still out in front with 22 points, he however has been tied by Alfie Hickman, a playoff may be looming.
New Arrivals
There have been several new arrivals in the last week, including the new impressive Calvin Klein clothing range of sweaters and sleeveless, the new Callaway bag range, Srixon Z Star ball and Glenbrae logo sweaters. Come and take a look.
