I hope your golf is good and although the temperature has dropped, it's still great weather to be out enjoying the course.
In this week's issue we have the results of the Abbiss Cups, a wet week for a couple of LPGC staff members and the release of the new PING G30 woods and irons.
The Abbiss Cups
A slightly different format for the Abbiss Cups last weekend, a fourball better ball event played against par (Matchplay against the course).
In testing conditions, including the odd torrential downpour, the results were as follows:
- L De Matos & N Todd +4
- M Gardener & S Gardener + 3
- J Cakebread & M Aylott +2
Perman Shield
Langley Park have been drawn at home against Sundridge Park in the next round of the Perman Shield. The match is due to be played on Saturday 30th August, please come and support this big game!
Vets league
Some of the vets have mentioned that the results haven't been appearing in the newsletter, well there has been a reason for this and they are as follows:
- LPGC v Sundridge (home) 3-3 draw
- LPGC v Cherry Lodge (home) 3-3 draw
- West Kent v LPGC (away) 5-1 lost
Ladies team sweaters
All those ladies who have ordered the new LPGC zip neck sweater, they are now on stock!
PING G30
Those of you who haven't already tried this fantastic new product, the PING G30 is now in stock, with demos in drivers, fairways and irons. Try it next time you're at the club and see the difference for yourself!

Junior Coaching
We have had several enquiries about junior lessons, so with this in mind I am starting up 2 classes to commence on Saturday 20th September, 10am - under 10's, 11am - Over 10's. Each will be a 6 week course for £55 with set dates and times, for more info please call the shop or email me at paul.sherman@foremostgolf.com.
