Good afternoon all,
A chilly week with the odd snowflake here and there but the course has remained open with very few temporaries, so far we have been fairly lucky, I hope that doesn't put the mockers on it!
We now have a new Facebook page up and running that all departments of the club have access to, please take a look and like the page for all the up to date goings on at LPGC, or click here to take a look.

I dusted the clubs off after a Christmas break to play at Knole Park in a (friendly) match representing the Kent PGA Pros vs The Kent Amateur 1st Team. It was designed to give the county side a warm up game against a team of Professionals who had represented the county as amateurs, the match ended up 3 1/2 - 1/2 in favour of the county side. I partnered Paul Stuart, Head Professional at The London Club against George Mullins and Michael Saunders (Dartford). We had a very good close game, with George and Michael leading 2up at the turn, we managed to square the game after 15 holes. Both sides had opportunities to win the match but ended in the only half of the afternoon.
That's all for this week, I'm in slightly sunnier climbs, and must go as the sun is burning the back of my legs!
