After Lockdown 2.0, we are now back in operation, those of you who have played this week will have seen a huge amount of sand being spread on the fairways, this will hopefully over time help combat the worm casts and overall fairway condition, something we have suffered from this season in particular. The WHS (World Handicap System) is now in operation and for most of us it will be a learning curve as we start to work it out.As with the previous system, supplementary cards are permitted, the process for submitting these are slightly different as you may now use the V1 app to submit a score but you still have to register you intention to record a score in the Pro Shop before your round, any scores submitted without prior declaration will unfortunately be deleted from your record. Most of you will know our Assistant, Tom Jordan. Tom has been studying for the past three years to complete The PGA Foundation Degree, all trainees have to complete and pass this before they become elected as a member of The PGA. The good news is Tom has had all of his results back and he has passed with flying colours and will now be elected into The PGA, well done Tom, congratulations!
