Good Afternoon,
Another week flies by in the golfing world, fortunately the temperature is still very good for this time of year so the course is still in great shape, although any run you may have been getting on the ball is rapidly disappearing!
A very busy weekend last weekend which started with the October Stableford on Saturday, Peter Battle led the way in division 1 with 38 points, beating Ben Dutton on countback, in division 2 Steve Sharpe took top honours using his band new Titleist AP1 irons to great effect with 39 points, 2 clear of Steve Wild and Dan Butler in 3rd with 35. I'm sure Titleist will be delighted with wins in both divisions!
The Swingers Cup was also decided this week, with Paul Malongone and Catherine Loddo narrowly beating Mishi Prashar and Roz Galley.
The final matches from the summer knockouts were all concluded on Sunday, with the following results:

New Arrivals
Titleist have just released their new range of Irons and Hybrids, and being one of their ambassadors I am fortunate to receive them ahead of everyone else, demos are available in a different shafts, lies and head shapes, come and try them and see for yourself what all the fuss is about!
The PGA Pro Am season is also drawing to a close, with only a few events left to play, this week I played at Knole Park with John Flesher, Steve Dale and Aidan Brock, a very windy day with a few early showers made it very testing, even the deer were taking shelter ! We managed -8 as a team to finish in 4th place, one off the podium, I played nicely to shoot 68(-2) for 2nd place, Benn Barham clearly found it a lot easier than the rest of us as he posted a tremendous 63(-7)!
Peter and I start our Captain/Pro matches this Sunday, the list has started to fill up nicely but if any of you fancy challenging us, please put your names up in the board, the current list runs until January 3rd.
