Good afternoon one and all,
This must be the warmest November ever! Almost into the middle of the month and the temperatures and still in the teens, a little breeze this week has also dried the ground out a little, so the course is playing as good as it probably could for this time of year.
Very few results to mention, although the midweek stableford was played last Thursday, great to see John Cranstoun take the leading place with 31 points. He narrowly beat Simon Mason and Fred Foster into second and third both on 30 points.
Obviously the competition side of thing quieten down this time of year but like last year we will be holding a Texas Scramble event on Monday 28th December, it will be in teams of four, shotgun start, open to all eligible members, keep this date in your diary free and also an eye on the notice board to enter your team as due to the format it will have limited numbers.
